The Southport Community Centre continues to be closed for major air-conditioning service.

Our Shabbat Services are held every Saturday afternoon in the Southport Community Centre, 6 Lawson St, Southport, (Gold Coast), Queensland, 4215 AUSTRALIA.

Exit 66 off the M1 Motorway onto Smith Street (State route 10)
Right turn onto Ferry Road (State Route 3). Left into Lawson St.
Right at roundabout into Garden St then turn into the driveway beside the netting fence (basketball court) into Woodrolf Park. You can park in any "PERMIT ONLY spot.  Although, you'll need a free parking permit to leave on the passenger side dashboard of your car to avoid a parking fine.
Ask the security guard at the building's main entrance for a "Parking permit" for your vehicle. See below.
Services time: Every Saturday from 1:30pm to ~4:30pm AEST

The Centre's security officer will welcome you and enable access via the foyer doors at SCC.
Inside the foyer there are stairs and a lift to the first floor. From the top of the stairs, follow corridor to last door on the left. We will be will be in the Main Auditorium on Saturday.
  • "The Parking permit" is to be placed on the passenger side dash top, which allows free parking in Woodroffe Park for the service for the rest of the day. If you don't have one, ask us upon arrival. Parking fine is >$90.
  • Air-conditioned room (reverse-cycle for winter warmth).
    • Complementary teas, percolated organic coffee, reverse osmosis water and disposable cups provided. 
  • Children are to stay within family/household groups when inside the venue. Corridors are not play areas.​
